Eager Beavers Visit Farm

A group of enthusiastic beaver scouts from Morriston will be visiting the Farm on Saturday 29 October to brush up on their outdoor skills and work towards their Community Challenge and Outdoor Challenge badges.

The 20th Swansea (1st Morriston) Group of 6 to 8 year olds will be coming to the Farm to learn new skills such as animal care, arts and crafts and find out more about the environment we live in.

Talking about the visit, Beaver and Group Scout Leader, Debbie Whyte said: "One of the tasks of the Community Challenge Badge is to work with local community projects and Swansea Community Farm was the perfect venue for us.  The Beavers are really excited about their visit to the Farm and we are looking forward to getting stuck in and getting mucky!"
