and global citizenship (ESDGC). Our teaching is based on experiential outdoor learning and all programmes are lead by experienced, qualified, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Farm staff.

Teaching visitors the importance of our relationship with the natural environment and the world around us has always been at the heart of what the Farm is about.

Since 2006, our schools programme has been developed in line with the needs of our local schools.  Working with visiting schools and responding to feedback, we have adapted and developed our visits to include the topics teachers felt were most appropriate for their pupils.

With the opening of our new cafe area (supported by the Jubilee People's Millions) we are now able to offer indoor space for lunch and to provide an alternative during extreme weather.  We will soon be developing a dedicated education room for use by visiting schools, groups or families.

Alongside the new education room, we are developing new units to support our food and farming visits to offer a full day programme.

The Farm has also recently become a registered centre under Agored Cymru and we are developing accredited training opportunities for KS4 pupils, volunteers and members of the community.
