What We Do
Swansea Community Farm is a community led, award winning charity, set in 3.5 acres of land in Swansea. We are the only city farm in Wales and host a range of farm animals, allotments, wildlife areas, bee hives and café. The Farm exists to improve wellbeing, build skills, and create a sense of belonging, alongside producing local food and caring for our natural environment. The farm work is done by volunteers and there are lots of opportunities to get involved in volunteering, training, and play on our beautiful site. Find out more about what we do and why.

Adult Volunteers
Volunteers are the Farm's most valuable resource, giving their time, energy, enthusiasm and skills. Without volunteers our Farm wouldn't exist. In return we offer them support, training and a hot cup of tea!
Child & Youth
We offer a wide range of activities to support children and young people of all abilities

Training & Education
We offer accredited training to people from the local area in cooking skills and healthy eating, food growing, nature conservation skills and animal care. For younger members of the community, our School Programmes are a great way to have fun through learning.

Cafe
Our cafe was built in 2012 by our volunteers. We have drinks and snacks available most days but please check in advance to confirm if the cafe is open.
Animals
Animals are the beating heart of any city farm, and ours is no exception. We keep a range of rare breed farm animals, especially Welsh rare-breeds.

Environment
Since 1998 we have been gradually developing our grounds and buildings not only as a refuge for people to escape the hurly burly of city life, but as a place to learn more about the environment around us.
