Only 6 Days Left to Support Cooking Together - Help us hit £10K!

This is it - we’re in the final week of our Coginio Ynghyd (Cooking Together) Crowdfunder, and we need your help now more than ever! There are just 6 days left until our fundraiser ends THIS SATURDAY - January 31st, and we’re working hard to reach our £10,000 target.

Why this matters

Coginio Ynghyd is all about bringing our community together - learning to cook, sharing healthy food, and building confidence and connections for people of all ages. Our training kitchen supports volunteers from often marginalised backgrounds with inclusive food education, social connection, and real-life skills that help change lives.

One of our amazing young volunteers Michael shared how being bullied in school affected him, and how the farm and cooking in our cafe helped him rebuild confidence, feel safe and belong: "The farm helped me improve my mental health and wellbeing. I came here in 2021 because I was being bullied in primary school. The farm's helped me because if i wasn't at the farm every Saturday I'd probably just be sleeping. I've liked working in the cafe because it has helped me improve my social skills and talking to members of the public. I've liked cooking and learning new recipes. I would like to be a cook when I grow up so learning skills in the cafe can help me go towards that."

We’ve already raised an incredible amount thanks to your generosity, but we still need that final push to meet £10k 🎯

Here’s how the funds will be used:

🍳 £6,500+ on reliable, energy-efficient kitchen equipment (new cookers, fridges, ventilation & cooling) so the space is safe and welcoming.

👩‍🍳 £3,500+ on running 10+ free cookery workshops for at-risk community members - bringing people together to learn, grow confidence, and enjoy warm, healthy meals.
